Just when I thought vigilante justice and lynching were about to sweep the IT world the Swiss Supreme Court decides to swim against the stream and protect users from so called “pirate hunter” companies. They ruled an IP address is personal information effectively covering it under their protection of personal information legislation. Nice to see a flicker of light out there.
