In the best traditions of committees everywhere, it will be named the ‘Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard 2.0’. As well as further expanding and clarifying definitions, it will include new regulations about how much effort you have to spend “snooping” the network looking for credit card data and how best snooping should be done.
