You know when you’re at a dinner party, and the conversation takes a bit of a wrong turn. Sometimes it’s an innocent mistake, like a joke about a dead parent when the woman down the ends elderly mother has just been admitted to hospital. I mean honestly - how was I to know?
Anyway. There’s always that one person who, after that, just can’t stop themselves. Has to drop one more comment, take it one step too far.
As Mr Soede would say, it all ends up wrong, plain wrong.
Well this story is like that.
