Governments need Viagra?
On the ONE hand we’ve got Canadian security researchers following an internet based espionage ring for at least seven months. The attacks were concentrated, well co-ordinated and compromised machines from a huge range of nations.
From the Wired report.
The intruders obtained reports on several Indian missile systems as well as documents related to the travel of NATO forces in Afghanistan. There is evidence that computers at Indian embassies in Kabul, Moscow and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and at the High Commission of India in Abuja, Nigeria had been compromised, including ones the process visa applications.
Then on the OTHER hand we’ve got a new CNET report saying 74% of U.S. Federal IT ‘Decision Makers’ believe the day is coming when their government will the victim of attacks on the internet. Sooner rather than later they think. Maybe these ‘Decision Makers’ haven’t checked their own pockets recently. Maybe a quiet call from Canada might be of help.
I was reading the side of a packet the other day that said ‘viagra is a commercial produced medicine containing Sildenafil citrate, which is used to treat male dysfunction’. Reading it for, re - research purposes of course.
Think it would help government dysfunction?
