Whitepages hacked

angry

Three weeks ago Ninemsn were serving up malware, twenty two days late its Whitepages serving it up

“On Monday morning WhitePages received reports from users [about] malware in the form of a fake antivirus upsell program that we believe originated (against our terms) from a third-party advertising network serving ads on our website, in addition to other websites,” a WhitePages spokeswoman said in an e-mail late Tuesday

Which is the more interesting - the fact they didn’t have a clue they were hacked until their customers told them - or - they found it unbelievable because it was against their terms.

Talk about a PLEASE EXPLAIN - do the guys who write the viruses not the read the contracts or something!?
