Formula 1 in Melbourne

Whoo Hoo!

The coming Formula 1 race in Melbourne has been eagerly awaited. Apart from seeing whether the teams show better results than in Bahrain, the rule changes will also be under close scrutiny. My picks for the podium positions are:

1. Alonso
2. Vettel
3. Hamilton

I’d like to put Schumacher in position 3 as he has had a number of previous wins here and I know he is quite capable of developing the car to do it, but feel that it is a little too early in the season for this result.

I’d also like to put Webber somewhere on the podium but am sure as this being his home GP, that something will inevitably go wrong for him - a stubborn wheel nut, faulty diffuser or drive through penalty.

Other drivers who are capable of spoiling my picks are Rosberg and even more so, Massa.
